Homebrew All-Kind Species Details
All-Kind are a simple race that hail from the feywilds.Typically miss-identified as smaller Illuskan humans due to their fair skin, silver iris', and Raven-Black hair, All-Kind are more often than not given a bad name due to their biology. members of this race can only gain sustenance from consuming the flesh of sapient life. They are typically seen as nothing more than psycho cannibals, with people telling stories to the young about how 'if they're bad, the All-kind are going to eat them up and replace them, for no-one to ever know they were gone.'
Despite this, there are alot of All-kind that are kind, mostly only feasting on that of pig and wolf. While pigs and wolves aren't as intelligent as most humanoid races, they provide enough sustenance to slow down the starvation process to requiring one humanoid per month
All-Kind Traits
As an All-Kind you gain the following traits upon character creation.Ability Score Increase
As an All-Kind, You gain a +2 to one Ability score, and a +1 to another Ability score.
Fey Ancestry.
You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.
Proficiency.
You have proficiency in your choice of one skill or disguise kits
Sapivore.
You do not gain the benefit of food unless it comes from a sapient (Natural) creature, such as that of an elf, dragonborn, owlin, human, changeling, etc. When you consume the flesh of a sapient creature that has died within the last hour your lifespan increases by 5 years, and you can choose to temporarily, painlessly, develop a similar feature(s) to typical members of their race once per long rest. In doing so, for the next 8 hours you have access to the following:
- One Proficiency that the creature had
- Any Movement Speeds the Creature had
- One trait of your choice that the creature had as a part of its race.
