Homebrew Aetherfell Species Details

Aetherfell are mortals who embody the essence of the Upper and Lower planes together. The nature of this union causes them to bear a unique blend of heavenly and demonic powers. 

Aetherfell are rare and usually outcasted. They usually have blend of angelic and demonic features, while still maintaining a humanoid appearance. Atherfell usually live for 150-200 years, some even going beyond. Physically they tend to have a unique blend of red and silver skin and bright yellow luminous eyes, both horns and a halo, their hair varying from a bright silver to a dark grey.

Size: Medium (about 4–7 feet tall)
Speed: 30 feet

As an Atherfell, you have these special traits.

Planar Resistance

You have Resistance to Necrotic damage and Radiant damage.

Darkvision

You have Darkvision with a range of 60 feet.

Darkness Dweller

At level 3, you always have the Darkness spell prepared. You can cast it once without a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast it in that way when you finish a Long Rest.

Light Bearer

You know the Light cantrip. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for it.

Aetherfell Wings

When you reach character level 3, you can sprout wings as a Bonus Action. The transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it (no action required). Once you transform, you can’t do so again until you finish a Long Rest.

Aetherfell Wings. Two wings (one of Celestial and the other of Abyssal appearance) sprout from your back temporarily. Until the transformation ends, you have a Fly Speed equal to your Speed.
