Homebrew Corvani Species Details

Small as a hawk and sharp as a dagger’s edge, the Corvani are a curious and cunning race of birdfolk who flit between the treetops and towers of the world. With iridescent feathers that shimmer in the sunlight and beady, intelligent eyes, they resemble magpies in both form and temperament. Their wings support graceful flight, and their small humanoid frames lend them surprising dexterity. But it is their minds—fast, inquisitive, and obsessed with glittering curiosities—that define them.

Corvani live in tightly woven communities known as sky-nests—vast, communal tree dwellings suspended among ancient forest canopies or built into the upper tiers of ruined spires and forgotten towers. These nests are crafted from twigs, threads, and scavenged items from the surrounding world. It is not uncommon for a Corvani home to be littered with mismatched jewelry, buttons, broken glass, and other “treasures” they find beautiful or curious.
