Homebrew Ahuizotl Species Details

1ST LEVEL

Ability score increases: +2 to con and a +1 to any stat of the players choosing

Ability, hand tail: You get the ability to hold heavy melee weapons in your tail, this lets you use your bonus action to attack even with a heavy melee weapon, however if the target is in front of you, you roll at a disadvantange for any attack rolls made by your tail. Additionally you are able to grapple things with your tail, with the same frontward disadvantage rule. In addition you can also cast non verbal spells with your tail if you are a spell caster, however if the target is in front of you, the target rolls it's spell save at an advantage

You also get the ability to breathe underwater and a faster swim speed

10TH LEVEL

you lose the disadvantage from attacking in front with your tail, targets of spells will no longer roll spell savesat an advantage
