Homebrew Aetherforged (Warframe Variant) Species Details

Once per long rest, you can unleash a chest-mounted arcane blast in either a 15-foot cone or 30-foot line (5 feet wide). Creatures in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus), taking elemental damage based on your level:

1–4: 2d8
5–10: 3d8
11–16: 4d8
17+: 5d8

Choose your damage type at character creation: Fire, Cold, Lightning, Thunder, Poison, or Force.

At 5th level, you can recharge this by expending a 1st-level spell slot or higher.

Your armored body grants a base AC of 13 + your Dexterity modifier. You also gain resistance to your core's elemental damage type.

Once per long rest, as a bonus action, enter Overdrive Mode for 1 minute. While active:

- Gain temporary hit points equal to your level + Constitution modifier.
- Once per turn, when you hit with a melee weapon attack, you deal extra damage equal to your proficiency bonus of your chosen elemental core type.

You may use this feature twice per long rest at level 11.

You are capable of wielding two two-handed melee weapons simultaneously.

When you take the Attack action, you may make one attack with each weapon (no bonus action required). If you have Extra Attack, both weapons may be used.

You cannot benefit from shields or use off-hand reactions with these weapons unless Overdrive Mode is active.

While in Overdrive, if both weapons hit the same target on your turn, that creature must make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your Strength modifier + proficiency bonus) or be knocked prone (once per Overdrive).

You have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, paralyzed, or stunned. You cannot be put to sleep by magic.

You gain proficiency in one of the following: Athletics, Perception, or Intimidation.

You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

You can replace one of your arms with a built-in weapon. This counts as a simple melee weapon and cannot be disarmed. You can enchant it normally.

Examples: Arcane Blade (scimitar), Mag-Hammer (warhammer), or Spear Injector.
