Homebrew abyssyr Species Details

The abyssyr are a testament to the dangers of unchecked ambition. Created in the hidden laboratories of a mad scientist—a self-styled technomancer whose workshops belched steam and sparked with unstable aether—these beings were born from a fusion of human stock and deep-sea leviathan essence. Their bodies bear the legacy of these experiments: humanoid in form yet marked by shimmering scales, sleek fins, and a massive tail reminiscent of ancient sea monsters.

In cities where steam engines and aetheric devices hum alongside sword and spell, abyssyr often find work as salvagers, tinkerers, or bodyguards. Water Dependence. If you fail to immerse yourself in water for at least 1 hour during a day, you suffer one level of exhaustion at the end of that day. You can only recover from this exhaustion through magic or by immersing yourself in water for at least 1 hour.

due to the experiments using genetic manipulation and implanting stuff you have 60 ft of dark vision

bioluminescence

you have deep sea dna causing you to have bioluminescence the bioluminescent dna manifests in diffrent forms inclueding glowing spots, an angler fish esca and glowing eyes (or something else be creative) glow at will causing 30 ft of light

aquatic

due to the experiments you are able to breath water as you have gills
