Homebrew Bone Fairy Species Details
While many a child knows of Tooth Fairies, these small and docile creatures are simply a subspecies of the much more threatening Bone Fairies. Nocturnal scavengers and predators, Bone Fairies feed on the bones of the dead and living alike. They frequent crypts and graveyards, but can be seen lurking in places like taverns, hospitals, and chapels. Anywhere the sick, dying, and desperate come to en masse, the Bone Fairies are sure to haunt as well.
Bone Fairy Traits
Bone fairies have the following traits.Ability Score Increase
Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and a different ability score of your choice increases by 1.

You are a Fey.
Flight
You can temporarily unfurl your wings. As a bonus action, you can gain a fly speed of 20 ft., lasting for one minute, or until you take damage. This feature can be used once per short rest.
Fanged Bite
Your sharp fangs serve as a natural melee weapon, dealing 1d6 + Strength piercing damage on a successful hit. If the target is below half of its maximum hit points, you deal an extra 1d6 necrotic damage.
Shaded Step
Your Fey blood allows you to cast misty step once per long rest. When cast through this feature, you are surrounded by shadowy fog instead of the usual mist, and you do not need a verbal component to cast this spell.
