The Mother Tree, Ratem, sprouted from the care of a renowned sorceress, was born of human optimism, a product of a prodigy who wished to bring prosperity to those around her. The Mother Tree's seeds were conjured of clerical magics, her roots growing quickly. Her vines dripped healing sap, and the tea from her leaves soothed even the mad. The tree was cultivated, she grew outstandingly, though the sudden disappearance of the prodigious sorceress left a heavy effect on her growth.

Where once sat an elegant tree between a field of blooming flowers, now a grand pillar that reached towards the sky, with an uncontrollable grove growing, festering around it. From these woods came an enigmatic new race, men and women who had emerged from the darkness, bearing the kiss of the flowers, and an anatomy far detached from the common races.

Your speed is increased by 5 feet when in broad daylight, but you are slowed by 5 feet in dark environments. Additionally, you gain a +1 advantage in all rolls when in broad daylight, but gain a -1 penalty to all rolls when in dark environments.

Accelerated Regeneration

When in broad daylight, gain a passive +1 per hour healing effect. This effect is nullified in dark environments.
