Homebrew Bugrat Species Details
Born through perhaps the dark gods having a sense of humor, or some hideous birth deformity, these creatures resemble or are perhaps related to the lowliest form of life, rats. Albeit smaller and weaker than their more bear-like namesakes, a Bugrat has many things up it's sleeve to allow it to do things it's larger relative couldn't dream of. Specializing in cunning and deceit, these creature's entire life depends on their ability to get away with duplicitous acts.

Your life has been dedicated to the acts of deceit that the cities of man condemn just as much as they condemn your existence, as such, your species has evolved to thrive in the shadows.Craven nature
Millenia of betrayal and mistrust have geared you to be able to lie easily, especially to those you have plans to screw over.
Gain advantage on disguise / deception rolls if you plan on betraying the target of the roll or the organization they represent in the next 24 hours. The betrayal must be major and place the target or their organization in peril.
Scurry Away
Over centuries of stealing, lying and cheating, your kind have had to evolve a sense of when to run away and how fast to run.
If you move away from an enemy, you move double your movement range.
Rattish nature
Bugrats have evolved to use their cunning, as opposed to their physical strength and aren't known for their wise words.
You gain a -2 to strength and wisdom scores, but +2 to dexterity and intelligence score.
Cowardly
You've evolved to be rightfully fearful a lot of things.
You have disadvantage on rolls to resist frightened.
Gigantophobia
You have learned that anyone bigger than you isn't a good target, as thus, you're naturally weary of those bigger than you.
When fighting an enemy that's 1 size bigger, you must roll a check to avoid being threatened. The size gap increases the DC, (1 size difference = 13 DC, 2 size difference = 17 DC, 3+ size difference = 19 DC)
