Homebrew Zombie Species Details
Once living souls who roamed the land of Mithenness, Zombies are the grim result of reanimation after death of a person under tragic or violent circumstances. When an individual dies, consumed by intense negative energy—such as rage, sorrow, or despair—their soul may remain connected to the mortal realm, resulting in the different formation of various variants.
However, due to their undead nature, zombies are vulnerable to burn damage from becoming exposed to sunlight, which is why this species is typically found more actively patrolling the lands at night.

Lurking in the depths of the ocean, the Drowned are an aquatic variant of the Zombie, formed after prolonged submersion in large bodies of water. Unlike their land-based counterparts, Drowned possess enhanced aquatic abilities, being that can swim swiftly, breathe underwater, and have natural night vision suited for the darkest parts of the sea.
Additionally, Drowned have an heightened sensitivity of their environment, as they can sense disturbances amidst the water currents and detect nearby objects or movement within a 30-foot radius. Unfortunately, like their original variant, this specie is highly susceptible to burn damage once exposed to sunlight.
