Homebrew Displacerkin Species Details
Displacerkin are humanoid creatures who share similarities to the fey monstrosity known as Displacer Beasts. They are a derivative of Tabaxi who were cursed during the rise of Lolth in her overtaking part of the feywilds, twisting it into what we know of today, as the Fey Dark. Despite most assumptions, Displacerkin are no more prone to evil than others. Most Displacerkin feel estranged from the goddess that cursed their lineage, and cling to the Tabaxi way of life. They tend to be nomads and work dangerous lifestyles like mercenaries.
Displacerkin Traits

Increase an Ability Score by 2 and another by 1.
Age
Displacerkin age at the same rate as Tabaxi, but tend to live a few years longer.

Humanoid.
Size
Displacerkin range from under 5ft to well over 7ft. You are Medium.
Beastial Instincts
Channeling the beast within, you have proficiency in one of the following skills of your choice: Acrobatics, Athletics, Intimidation, or Survival
Extra Appendages
All Displacerkin have a tail that allows them access to their Displacement ability. You can also choose one of the two following options:
- You have two secondary arms below your primary arms. These can be used to interact with objects as normal arms would, as well as wield a weapon each that has the light property.,
- You have two tentacles that can be used to manipulate an object, open or close a door or container, and pick up or set down a Tiny object. They can be used as natural weapons that can be used to make unarmed strikes. The damage dealt by these tentacles is limited to your character's class abilities.
Displacement
As a reaction to an attack roll against you, you can cause the attack roll to be made at disadvantage with a well-placed illusory copy. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
