Homebrew Demi-God (Illegitimate) Species Details

While there are demi-god children of gods and powerful mortals there is another kind, unwanted children born of a god and a mortal of no renown, they are incompatible leading to a being born without a soul in a limbo between life and death, you however are different, you have grasped a soul of your own, you breathe, touch and feel, your body a millennia of history, your mind but a few.

Age

In the early stages of life you age according to the race of your mortal parent, after adult hood you will age incredibly slowly, making it possible to live for thousands of years.

 

Alignment

Your alignment is a result of your upbringing (Player Choice).

 

Size

Your size is medium (on average ranging between 7-9 ft).

 

Speed

You have a base walking speed of 30 ft.

Seeing through deception and altering ones fate

Resistance

You are resistant to necrotic damage

Ability Score Increase

Your Strength score is increased by 2 and one score of your choice by 1

Fate Unbound

Even the great power that is fate itself bows for a demigod. When you roll a 1 on an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can re-roll the die and must use the new roll. Can only be used once a short/long rest.

True Sight

The blood of a god runs through you, for this you have the ability to see past deceptions and falsehoods directed towards you. You can gain the benefits of the True Seeing spell for 1 minute. You can only use this ability once before needing to take a long rest to do it again.
