Homebrew Anunnaki– The Vaultborn Species Details

🧬 Lore:

The Anunnaki are an ancient, mystic species believed to be born from the silent explosion of a dying star that collided with the Astral Veil. Forged in the cradle of divine radiation and space-bending light, the Anunnaki were created by forgotten gods to protect relics, secrets, and sacred things across time.

Every Anunnaki carries within them a Memory Core, a metaphysical construct passed through bloodlines and carved with centuries of preserved moments. Most Anunnaki are chosen as stewards of celestial vaults, wielding unique control over space-time folds and sacred containment.

Anunnaki– The Vaultborn Traits

🌠 Racial Traits of the Anunnaki

🌒 Memory Core

You possess a crystalline neural core encoded with memory echoes from your ancestors. You can perfectly recall anything you have seen or heard within the last 30 days. This includes maps, symbols, texts, conversations, spells cast, or even the exact position of stars.

In addition, when you make an Intelligence (History) or Intelligence (Religion) check, you can roll with advantage once per long rest.

Cosmic Adaptation

You can survive in low-oxygen or irradiated environments for up to 1 hour, as your body filters and reprocesses cosmic particles. You still require rest, food, and air normally, but you are far more durable than baseline humanoids.

In vacuum or void environments, you do not suffer disorientation or motion sickness, and you can anchor yourself to surfaces by magnetizing your pulse-field through your feet (advantage on Acrobatics or Athletics checks to resist being flung or dislodged in zero-G).

Ethereal Sight

Once per long rest, you can briefly part the veil of time. As a bonus action, you gain truesight out to 10 feet for 1 minute. During this time, you see into overlapping timelines — including invisible creatures, ethereal entities, and magical effects.

Moment Lock

Once per day, you can suspend a single object you’re holding in a frozen state for 1 minute — like a crumbling relic, a melting tool, or a broken device.
The object can be used as if it were still intact, but once the minute ends, it crumbles or becomes unusable. This doesn’t work on weapons or living things.
