Homebrew Becorn Species Details

Becorns are whimsical woodland creatures grown from acorns belonging to trees blessed by dryads. They are gentle and almost always curious and up to something. There are warriors that defend against squirrels but most are nurturers. They feed the wildlife and care for them. When speaking of their community, they will use the term "Tree", only being more specific in the rare instance they come in contact with other Becorn communities.

At 3rd level, Becorns have advantage on nature checks when it pertains to plants.

Nature's Friend

Becorns regularly commune with nature. At 5th level, if a plant creature is in the area, you can communicate with it as if you shared a common language, but you gain no magical ability to influence it.
