You always know the number of living creatures with blood within 30 ft. (no location—just count). As a bonus action once per short or long rest, you can sharpen that sense for 1 minute, gaining advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks to locate any such creature by scent.

You can cast charm person without a spell slot. Starting at 5th level you can instead cast suggestion. You regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability.
