Homebrew Beetle [HOLLOW KNIGHT] Species Details

Sometimes called Living Tanks, beetles have one of the toughest shells among bugs. Capable of coming out of most battles completely unscathed, these bugs are normally hired as body guards for important bugs because of how durable they are. However with this size comes some loss, their also one of the slowest bugs alive, which is why they aren't normally hired for anything outside bodyguards.

Hardened Carapace

Beetles are well known for their solid shells, letting them survive even the toughest of situations. Once per long rest, if you drop down to 0 hp you can instead roll a d10 and regain that much health instead of dying.

Steadfast

When standing still you can focus much more on defence. When standing still your AC increases by 3.

Headfirst

You're quite hard headed (pun) and can use said hard head as a battering ram. Deal 1d10 + your STR modifier bludgeoning damage when attacking with your head.
