Homebrew Arapenthyr Species Details
Arapenthyr are long-limbed humanoids that secrete a poisonous liquid from their hairy arms. There are few of them existing at the same time. They are believed to be born from magical trees that have been carved while performing a ritual and watered with holy water.
Arapenthyr Traits
As an Arapenthyr you gain access to the following traits.Ability Score Increase
Your Constitution score increases by 1, and your Strength score increases by 2.
Size
Arapenthyrs have a slightly taller build than humans due to their uncannily long limbs. Your size is Medium.
Long-limbed
As an Arapenthyr you have long limbs. You get 5 extra feet of range (applicable only for melee attacks, melee spell attacks and touch spells).
Grappling Master
When grappling you can grab a creature that is up to 10 feet away from you. Whenever you do so (and you successfully grapple them) you may pull them 5 feet towards you as a free action.
Poisonous body
Whenever a creature starts their turn being grappled by you, they take 1d4 poisonous damage. This damage escalates on leves 3, 6, 10, 14. Becoming 1d6, 1d8, 1d10 and 1d12 respectively.
Also your character is resistant to poison damage.
