Homebrew Arachne Species Details

As a result of their curse, Arachne have a great propensity for the darker forms of magic, and implicit deals with many of the Umbral Deities. They are tall, slender, and regarded as monstrous by many members of the Empire, hated by Elves especially, as the Elves worship Athena devoutly. 

Their long legs yield quick movement speeds on most surfaces, and allow them to climb walls and trees as well as they walk on the ground. They grow quite strong as they age and molt, gaining new abilities as their bodies take shape and their magical propensities deepen.
