Being a mimic, you’re able to take the form of normal everyday items. At first level, choose 3 household items that are size medium or smaller. As an action, you are able to turn into a perfect recreation of one of those items. Whilst you aren’t moving, you are indescribable from the original version of the object. A creature can make a Wisdom (Insight) check against your Charisma (Deception) check. If they pass, they know that you’re not a normal item. Whenever you are in your item form, your speed is reduced to 20. You are unable to take actions, bonus actions, or reactions while in your object form. All objects that were on your person before you shifted become melded into your form. Any items placed into your form can be melded into you if you wish to do so.

Once you reach 3rd level, you gain one large-sized object of your choice to transform into. You can transform a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier.

Your unarmoured AC is equal to 11 + your Dexterity modifier.

Your creature type is monstrosity instead of humanoid. All effects that target shapeshifters affect you to.

You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.

Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Intelligence score increases by 1.

Animated Mimics tend to mature around age 15, and live up to 80 years old.

Animated Mimics are typically very greedy, landing somewhere along the evil scale of the spectrum.
