Homebrew Angler (fixed) Species Details

Being born an aquatic humanoid, the angler are the merfolk equivalent of drow, and as such, their species was also created by what they believe is a vengeful creator, being granted some translucent body parts and some that glow. When they left to land they discovered the light, and decided its too bright, so back to the seas they went

 

Angler (fixed) Traits

Cold resistance, light vulnerability, darkvision, constant light cantrip, language of your choice and common just to get to the point

Aquatic liveliness

You can see and breathe underwater (120 darkvision) but you need to be shoulder deep in water for an hour daily

Cold resistance

Because you live(d) so deep underwater, you are now resistant to cold

Youre a humanoid fish, you need to be in water for at least an hour a day, and because you live(d) in water for so long, you are now vulnerable to light and radiant damage
