Homebrew Awaken Owl Species Details
Awaken by a spell, experimentation, or a gift from the Gods, you have a higher intelligence filmier to the humanoids that walk the land. Like an owl, you live like the owl you resemble, wise, quit, or catlike in home environments. Or live as other adventures do, not exhibiting the bird behaviors of other owls, as you are now awakened.
Awaken Owl Traits
You are just a smart owl, therefore you have such traits:Creature Type
You are a beast.
Size
As an Owl, you are size tiny, with the largest owls ever being 2-3 feet tall.
Speed
Your walking speed is 15 ft., and you have a flying speed of 50 ft.
Talons
You can use your talons to make unarmed strikes. When you hit with them, the strike deals 1 + your Strength modifier slashing damage, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Flyby
As an owl, when you fly out of an enemy's reach, your enemy will have disadvantage on their opportunity attack.
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 120 feet of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern colors in that darkness only as shades of gray.
Owl's Talent
Like an owl, you gain have a bonus in the Perception and Stealth skills.
