Homebrew Demigod Species Details

You are mostly human, but part of you is something far more powerful. The blood of gods (or whatever god-like being it was) that flows in you grants you great power, but at great cost (your fatal flaw). You look just like a normal human to most, but anyone who can detect magical presence can tell that you are substantially different. 

Note: This species is intended to be used with standard array, or maybe point buy, but will not work the same with rolled stats. 

This race is a little clunky, because some of the abilities don't really work in home brew.

Demigod Traits

These are the abilities that being descended from gods give you.

Great Power

You increase your highest score by 5 and you get a resistance of your choice. 

Fatal Flaw

You must choose a vulnerability and decrease your lowest stat by 3. 

Specialisation

Choose any damage type. Attacks you make ignore resistance to damage of the chosen type. In addition, when you roll damage for an attack you make that deals damage of that type, you can treat any 1 on a damage die as a 2. 

You also get an expertise. 

Speed

You have a walking speed of 30 feet.

Size

You are medium. 

Unlimited Power

Due to your powerful heritage, your ability score maximums are increased by 2 at level 5.
