Homebrew Boviline Species Details
Bovilines look mostly human, with the tail, horns, and other attributes, whereas Minotaurs are practically bipedal bulls with arms. In heritage, Minotaurs are abyssal, where Bovilines are infernal, like all other Demi-humans. Typically the males have more bull-like features, while the females take on more cow like ones. Much like bovine animals, these Demi-humans are very pack oriented, preferring to stay in some kind of herd.
Boviline Traits
Bovilines have the following traits…Natural Weapons
You have horns sprouting from your head that serve as a natural weapon and defense mechanism. While females have smaller horns than males, females’ horns are equally just as deadly as their male counterparts.
Tough Hide
Your bovine features grant you an enhanced resilience, making your skin tough as an ox.
You gain one extra max HP per level up, and you get double healing from rolling hit dice during short rests.
Herd Mentality
You were raised in a Boviline community, otherwise known as a herd, where you were taught the meaning of companionship and having others to back you up.
Your Herd Mentality grants you +1 to AC for every two allies within 10 ft of you. Additionally, when an ally falls in battle, you gain temp HP equal to a roll of one of that ally’s hit dice.
