Pantheon Blessings of the Vau-Ny’r

Once per long rest, a Vau-Ny’r may whisper a prayer in Ny’ris to one of the 22 deities. The effect lasts until the start of your next turn unless noted otherwise.

Sol’yne The Warmth-Bringer - You shed gentle warmth. For 1 hour, allies within 5 ft are comfortable in cold weather.

Ael-Dra The Storm-Born - A faint rumble follows your words. You can cause harmless sparks, wind gusts, or the scent of rain to accompany your presence for 10 minutes.

Cael-Ahn The Heart-Anchor - For the next hour, you may roll a saving throw against being frightened with advantage.


Verda’na The Flowing Life - 
You may cause wilted flowers or plants in a 5 ft radius to bloom again, glowing faintly for 1 minute.


Aegis-Kon The Unbroken - Once before the end of your next long rest, if reduced to 0 HP, you instead drop to 1 HP. (This feature cannot be regained until a long rest completes.)


Glyn-Darr The Whispering Hearth - When resting near a fire, you may hear faint whispers. Once per long rest, add +1 to a single Hit Die rolled during a short rest.


Invar’is Guardian of the Deepwoods - Once before the end of your next long rest, you may roll Stealth with advantage when among trees, rocks, or dense cover.


Xylos-Vani The Ever-Flowing Stream - You can purify up to 1 gallon of water by touching it.


Mael-Wyn Spirit of the Forest's Song - Birds and small beasts within 30 ft react positively to you for the next 10 minutes.


Dren-Thali Master of the Sunken Roots - For 1 hour, you leave faint glowing hoof-like prints in soil or mud that last 1 minute before fading.


Voren-Ais Voice of the Untamed Wild - You can mimic the call of a wild animal perfectly once before your next long rest.


Elaria-Ristix Mistress of Hidden Pathways - Once before your next long rest, you may treat difficult terrain as normal for 10 minutes.


Zyl-Orn Architect of Verdant Growth - You may cause a patch of moss or grass in a 5 ft square to grow overnight, enough to create soft bedding.


Sera-Lys The Flowing Grace - You may reroll a failed Acrobatics check once per long rest.


Nymeria-Aelis Echo of the Deepwood's Song - Your voice carries a natural resonance. Once before your next long rest, you gain advantage on a Performance check made to sing or recite.


Rhy’sein-dra Sentinel of the Verdant Veil - For the next 10 minutes, faint green motes circle you. Allies within 5 ft feel comforted, granting them advantage against fear effects once.


Torvinix Master of the Hidden Glade - Once before the end of your next long rest, you can hide in natural foliage with advantage.


Anayis-Lystra Weaver of Starlight's Embrace - You may create a small orb of dim starlight that floats near you for 10 minutes, shedding dim light in a 10 ft radius.


Vana-Zy’ras The Dreamer - When you take a long rest, you may choose to receive a dreamlike vision. The DM provides a cryptic omen or hint related to the future.


Vespera-Miiz Moonlight's Heart - For 1 hour under moonlight, you shed a faint glow (5 ft radius). Allies who sleep within it gain advantage on their next saving throw against exhaustion.


Jylira-Ver The Guiding Wind - Once before the end of your next long rest, you can reroll an Initiative roll.


Aylin-Dray Mistress of the Twilight Path - For 10 minutes at dusk or dawn, shadows cling to you — granting advantage on one Stealth check.

                                                                                                                         

General Description -

Vau-Ny'r are fierce protectors of nature, but live in peace due to developing a society free from dogmatic views. The Vau-Ny'r average from 11-15ft tall and prefer to solve things with peaceful displays of magickal prowess over combat. But if necessary, they prefer to use spears, bows, and longswords over any other ore-based weapons.

The Vau-Ny'r can speak common but also speak a language called Ny'ris, the language of the forgotten wind.

Vau-Ny'r from birth age like humans, but their aging slows down severely at age 22 and they can live up to 800 years.

Vau-Ny'r Traits

The Vau-Ny'r have a +5 to survival checks that involve incoming enemies when in the forest, +7 if they are in the forest they were born in.

Serenity of the Moons

The deer-like eyes of the Vau-Ny'r grant them exceptional eyesight in the night.

Ethereal Antlers

Your antlers count as natural weapons (2d8 bludgeoning damage) and can be adorned with charms or magical foci. Once per long rest, you may channel divine resonance through them: when you make a melee attack, add 3d4 radiant damage.

Grace of the Hearth & Grove

The Vau-Ny'r are beings of the forest, they have adapted to dealing with their enviroment and the many creatures that lurk in the shadows and have become proficient in Nature and Animal Handling.

Whispering Hearth (Gift of Glyn-Darr)

When you take a short rest, you and allies who spend Hit Dice within 30 ft regain +1 additional hit point per die spent.

Flowing Life (Gift of Verda’na)

Granted at lvl 5 - Once per long rest, you may call on the forest’s renewal. As an action, you or an ally within 30 ft regains hit points equal to 2d6 + your Wisdom modifier.

Starlight’s Embrace (Gift of Anayis-Lystra)

At lvl 10, once per long rest, you may step through strands of starlight. You can cast Misty Step without expending a spell slot. When you do, soft motes of glowing pollen and faint starlight trail behind you. Allies who stand in this mist get an additional 2d8 Radiant DMG to their attacks while enemies will take 2d8 DMG if they step through it.

Verdant Veil (Gift of Rhy’sein-dra)

At lvl 15 your presence protects the peace of forest. As a bonus action, you create an aura of protective energy within 10 ft for 1 minute. Allies in the aura gain resistance to necrotic damage and advantage on saving throws against poison. You may use this once per long rest.

Heart of the Pantheon (Gift of The Circle of Twenty-Two)

At lvl 20 your essence resonates with the full harmony of the Vau-Ny’r pantheon. Once per long rest, you may cast Heal without expending a spell slot. In addition, allies within 10 ft of you gain +2 to all saving throws while you remain conscious.
