Homebrew Draelin Species Details
The Draelin are a race of deep-dwelling survivors, descended from those who endured the cataclysmic fractures that split Ene’we’s crust and buried entire civilizations. Over generations in the crushing dark, their bodies adapted — skin hardened into keratinous, stone-like layers, bones grew dense and mineral-laced, and their eyes developed a faint inner glow that pierces gloom.
Though statuesque and formidable, the Draelin are not unfeeling. They are slow to speak, patient in thought, and bound by unyielding loyalty. Memory is sacred to them: every oath, kindness, or betrayal is etched into their identity as surely as striations in stone. Emerging rarely from their cavern holds, Draelin who walk the surface do so as lorekeepers, oath-wardens, and seekers of truths long buried. They are both feared and respected — living monuments that carry the weight of the deep earth wherever they tread.
