Homebrew Dogfolk Species Details

Furtive and tribal, the little-known dogfolk are found in deep in the woods, and high upon mountains. Varied in form and cautious of outsiders, dogfolk are thought to originate from the Faewilds, and are often confused for werewolves. Though they are typically careful around new people, dogfolk are generally good judges of character and are quick to trust, and fiercely loyal to those they form bonds with. To the dogfolk, a bond is not something to be taken lightly, and while they are not easily broken, when a bond does break, it breaks violently.

Dogfolk typically worship gods of nature, weather and hunting. Most dogfolk live in small tribes and villages away from larger populations, though some brave the outside world for one reason or another. While tribal dogfolk often become skilful rangers or fearsome barbarians, those who venture out often find their loyalty and faithfulness making paladins and clerics of them.
