Your lineage stems from a dragon progenitor. Choose the kind of dragon from the Draconic Ancestors table. Your choice affects your Breath Weapon and Damage Resistance traits as well as your appearance.

When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can replace one of your attacks with an exhalation of magical energy in either a 15-foot Cone or a 30-foot Line that is 5 feet wide (choose the shape each time). Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 plus your Constitution modifier and Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, a creature takes 1d10 damage of the type determined by your Draconic Ancestry trait. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage. This damage increases by 1d10 when you reach character levels 5 (2d10), 11 (3d10), and 17 (4d10).

You can use this Breath Weapon a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.

You have Resistance to the damage type determined by your Draconic Ancestry trait.

You have Darkvision with a range of 60 feet.

At 5th level, your body is empowered by your draconic heritage altering it to better suit your needs. Choose one of the Gifts below:

• Dragon Claws. Your front legs have developed into natural weapons in the form of strong claws which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

• Dragon Wings. You sprout a set of draconic wings capable of flight. You have a Flight speed equal to your speed. You can’t use this flying speed if you’re wearing medium or heavy armor. While you are serving as a mount, you can't use your Flying speed as your body is not strong enough to carry someone into the air.

• Dragon Scales. You manifest armor-like scales all over your body. When you aren't wearing armor, your base AC is 13 + Constitution modifier. You can use your natural armor to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. A shield's benefits apply as normal while you use your natural armor.

You count as one size larger for the purposes of mounting or serving as a mount as well as when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push or drag. In addition, you have disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks as your lumbering body makes it hard to navigate quietly.
