Homebrew Crocodilian Species Details
Crocodilians are a medium to large race who are able to put up the toughest fights in most situations, making them a strong member of any party and a fierce leader. Their civilization mainly stays in swamplands, with their main city in the Withering Swamplands, named Khonsaka, which in Crocodilian means "Heart of the Gods". They have only recently joined into the civilizations of Avalorne as the latest in a long line of races to sign the Lasting Peace Treaty in the capitol of Silverwind City.
Crocodilian Traits
Crocodilians are a tough skinned and strong race. They Are also known for their feats of strength.Ability Score Increases
Your Strength score is increased by 2, and your Constitution score is also increased by 2.
Age
Crocodilians mature at the age of 18, the same rate as humans, but can live up to 500 years as their natural lifespan.
Size
Crocodilians are usually a large race but their are the occasional runts which are smaller. Your size can either be Medium or Large.
Speed
Crocodilians can move 30 ft. on land, and in water they have a base swim speed 40 ft.
Death Rolling
Whenever a Crocodilian grapples another creature in the water or even on land, they can take a bonus action to deal 2d10 damage to their enemy and knock them into the Prone status, but will also place them in the Prone status, this can only be done, once per short rest.
Leathery Skin
Your Scales and skin are very tough and can take one hell of a beating. You have resistance to Piercing and Slashing damage.
Dile Claws
Your natural features allow you to deal natural claw attacks instead of weapon attacks if you wish.
Languages
You can speak Common, and Crocodilian.
