When playing an Aetherian, think about their perspective on the world. They are ancient beings who view life from a cosmic perspective, which might make them seem detached or unempathetic to mortal struggles. However, their connection to the stars also makes them incredibly curious about life, and many Aetherians are driven by a desire to understand the forces of magic, time, and space. Some might seek to preserve balance, while others are more focused on personal discovery or cosmic exploration.

Cosmic Form: Aetherians have resistance to radiant damage and psychic damage due to their connection to the stars and the ethereal planes. Additionally, they are immune to the paralyzed and poisoned conditions. Stellar Vision: Aetherians can see through magical darkness, as well as into the Ethereal Plane, as if using the see invisibility spell. This ability represents their connection to the cosmic and ethereal realms. Astral Step: As a bonus action, an Aetherian can briefly shift into the Ethereal Plane for up to 10 feet. This movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks and allows them to phase through solid objects for the duration, though they can't end their movement inside another object.
