Homebrew Dark Lich Species Details

The Dark Lich comes to be through spellcasters whom refuse their own mortality and seek to defy death through dark magic (This is the same case with the Common Lich) The most notable difference between the two variants is the location that the mortality ritual is performed. If the ritual is performed in the heart of the Ashwood Forest , the resulting undead will be a Dark Lich.

(This is due to to unique magical properties concentrated in the forest center)
