Homebrew Bangungot Species Details

Bangungot are quite tall as they are distant descendants of tree demon giants. Each Bangungot bears the favors of the dream realm that manifest in various supernatural boons, including the ability to have keen smell due to being able to sniff out dreams. As they are have tree ancestory they tend to live in forests in the trees themselves

Bangungot can only be born as women there are no males.

Bangungot have physical characteristics that are reminiscent of the Chubby Women. For example, some Bangungot look more human, while others resemble trees such as oak, birch, spruce etc.  Bangungot are Anakbalete whose tree homes have been cut. In anger, they turn from mischievous to malicious, using their powers to read the minds of sleeping people and find the destroyer of their homes. This process is hard on the victim, causing nightmares and, in unfortunate circumstances, death.
