Homebrew Anglerkin Species Details

You are a creature descended from an incredibly reclusive people who live deep under the waves, far beyond where the water swallows the last dregs of light and reduces them to inky blackness. Resembling a deep sea anglerfish, the name is incredibly apt but is known by few as many of this species are content to subsist on deep sea detritus and what few fish live in the abyssal zone with them.

Superior Darkvision

You have Superior Darkvision with a range of 120 feet.

Luring Bulb

Your bulb is very alluring to nearly all species. As a result people can become slightly pacified and amicable if you choose to use it to disarm them. 

You can cast the Friends cantrip as an action. Does not work on creatures that are blind or otherwise incapable of light based sight.

Sunlight Sensitivity

 While in sunlight, the drow has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
