Personality & Culture
Axolotlus are joyful and peace-loving amphibian folk who live in cool, freshwater caverns and lake settlements. They value community, curiosity, and harmony with nature. Their societies are built around cooperation and storytelling, with elders passing down ancient songs said to shape the currents themselves.
Despite their small stature and soft appearance, Axolotlus are resourceful explorers — often serving as scouts, healers, and herbalists in adventuring parties. They have an innate fascination with the surface world, though they prefer damp environments and often bring water skins or enchanted mists to stay hydrated.
They find beauty in simple things — rippling light, soft moss, the laughter of frogs — and are known for decorating themselves with beads, shells, and carved bone trinkets that tell the story of their travels.
