Homebrew Diabling Species Details

One of the only races that primarily live underground that live in colonies. They are proficient in many languages and got their names not from their own tongue, but from their first discovery by humans, thinking of them as little devil creatures. Since then they have coined the name to destroy the harmful stereotype that surrounds them. They are proficient builders and are often hired to fix things underground. They also have a fiery attitude.

Diabling Traits

Speed: 25 feet

As a Diabling, you have these special traits.

Darkvision

You have Darkvision with a range of 60 feet.

Craft Specialization

You gain one skill proficiency and one tool proficiency of your choice.

Relentless Endurance

When you are reduced to 0 Hit Points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 Hit Point instead. Once you use this trait, you can’t do so again until you finish a Long Rest.

Claws

Your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
