Homebrew Beekin Species Details

BeeKin are lightly based on the flightless Australian indigenous bees (mainly just so my DM doesn't have to deal with me flying everywhere). They create their hives underground and care for their young communally. Very few BeeKin become adventurers, and are simply happy living in their commune, except for young Queens, who must leave carrying fertilized eggs and begin a new colony. BeeKin can move quite fast and love to burrow and mine, they gather wood and pollen throughout the day, before returning to the hive and digging at night. BeeKin love flowers, tea and sleep and you will often find them dozing in a field of flowers near their hive. BeeKin love to dance and can communicate with each other through movement of pheromones. BeeKin's honey is a prized product and is a fiercely kept treasure, if any does end up on the market it is usually at an exorbitant cost, this is due to them considering it almost like gold, something to be held on to incase of an emergency, like a wildfire or a raiding party.
