Homebrew Angel-devil Species Details
Born from the love of two opposing factions, these uncreatively named creatures possess the demonic and angelic traits of their parents. These beings look a lot like humans and come in a variety of colors ranging from the normal human to everything in the rainbow. Notable facial features include odd teeth formations (a mix of unnaturally sharp and normal teeth) and opposing eye colors. A distinct feature denoting them is possessing both the horns of a devil and the wings of an angel. Though sadly the wings remain practically ornamental due to improper forming. Since angels and devils hate each other, this creature is disliked by both sides—it's not uncommon for them to be snubbed by either side. They are often abandoned and are commonly found wandering the plains, though in rare cases their parents actually take responsibility and keep them.
Angel-devil Traits
Convergence of heaven and hellChaotic Existance
The powers of light and darkness flow through your veins. These powers mix violently with each other and produce instability in the weave. Best be careful when interacting with magic in any way!
+When magic is used by this species, either through their own casting or a magic item, roll a d10. If magic is cast on the species, the caster will roll a d10.
If the result of the d10 is a 1, then roll a d100 for Minkberry's The Wilder Wild Magic Table
Chaotic Constitution
The bloodlines within this creature's body are both constantly fighting to come out on top. Every day one side of their heritage will win and gain the strength and weakness of the dominating side.
+At the start of each day, flip a coin. If heads, the species is resistant to fire and vulnerable to radiant damage. If Tails, the species is resistant to holy and vulnerable to fire damage.
Alliance of good and evil
This unfortunate species has at least something going for them! The coalescence of both good and evil miraculously fused to give these pitiful creatures outstanding talent.
