Homebrew Babarin Species Details
In the high peaks of the mountains, and the deep canopies of the jungles, exist the massive and hearty Babarin people. Tribes of primate like beings that live secluded from most of society. It is rare to see Babarin leave their birthplace, and it is even rarer to see one that is capable of magic as they do not live long.
Babarin Traits
Fanged Maw, Furred Resilience, Dexterous HandsFanged Maw
Those of the Babarin race possess large and powerful jaws adept at crushing their foes. When you take the attack action, you may use your Fanged Maw feature to make a unarmed strike against an enemy within 5ft. This attack deals 1d6+STR bludgeoning damage.
Furred Resilience
Babarin possess a thick coating of fur to protect them from the elements. Once per short rest you can toughen your hide as a reaction to taking damage, adding 2 to your AC until your next turn.
Dexterous Hands
The Babarin possess a natural ability to climb where others would not be able to. Your climbing speed becomes 30ft.
