Tuffle Traits

■ Mechanical Physiology

You count as both Humanoid and Construct.
You gain:

  • Advantage on saving throws against disease and being poisoned

  • Resistance to poison damage

You can still be healed normally by magic.

■ Tuffle Regeneration

Once per long rest, you can use a bonus action to regain HP equal to your level + your Constitution modifier.

■ Analyzer Eyes

Your cyber-optic eyes can scan energy and biology.

You gain:

  • Darkvision 60 ft.

  • Proficiency in Investigation

  • As an action, you can analyze a creature you can see within 60 ft. The DM tells you one of the following (your choice):

    • Their creature type

    • Their highest ability score

    • Their current HP relative to max (healthy, bloodied, near death)

You can use this feature proficiency bonus times per long rest.

■ Parasitic Override (Baby Infection)

(Your “Baby possession” ability — balanced for D&D)

You can temporarily overtake another creature’s body through microscopic Tuffle nanites.

As an action, choose one creature within 5 ft.
They must make a Wisdom saving throw against a DC of 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier.

  • On a failure, you infect them for 1 minute.

  • While infected:

    • They are Charmed by you.

    • You can issue simple telepathic commands (move, attack a target, drop an item).

    • They cannot cast spells that require concentration.

This effect ends early if the creature takes damage from you or your allies.

You can use this feature once per long rest, or spend two Hit Dice to use it again.

Creatures immune to charm automatically succeed.

■ Host Compatibility

Because your species adapts quickly, you gain:

  • Proficiency in one skill of your choice

  • One extra tool or weapon proficiency (your choice)

You can speak, read, and write Common and Tuffle (a smooth, technological language of pulses and sharp syllables).
