Homebrew Blob Folk Species Details
Blob folk are slimoids that gain consciousness and will through magical or alchemical experiments, or uncanny phenomena. With this nature, they generally do not feel like they belong to society and live in the dark parts world. But some of them try to go against their nature and try to write history.
Blob Folk Traits
As a Blob Folk, you have these special traits.Amorphous Body
You can squeeze through any space at least 3 inches wide. While doing so, your speed is 5 ft, and you have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws until you return to normal shape.
Puddle Form
As an action, you become a Small puddle of ooze.
While in this form: AC = {{10+modifier:str+proficiency}}
You cannot speak, hold objects, or cast spells with somatic/material components
You can Hide even when only lightly obscured.
You return to humanoid form as a bonus action.
Formless Resilience
Once per long rest, when you take bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, reduce it by 1d8 + proficiency bonus.
