Related to Fae, these goblinoid creatures are only in their first stage of life. Boggarts exist within communities primarily deep within swamps, bogs, and marshes surrounded by their clan. Upon reaching maturity, boggarts typically emerge from 

Boggarts enjoy all types of mischief. While some cause mischief with the intention to harm and hunt, other prefer harmless light hearted mischief. 

Once boggarts live their life and reach death, through aging or other means, they transform into their second stage of life, to mature will-o-wisps, who will continue to cause mischief. Boggarts deeply respect the will-o-wisp they come across, with many will-o-wisps gathered together being considered a sign of good luck and protection.

Frightening Form

The boggart can use an action to transform into a form that would scare a target within 10 ft. The target must make a successful DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. It needs to use a bonus action to transform back into its true form.

Innate Spellcasting

 Being of Fae origin and mischievous in nature, necessity dictated the learning of these spells. Innately understood and refined during youth, these spells each are what allow boggarts to continue to survive in a world that would see them removed.

Being magical in nature themselves, the boggart have a stronger resistance to magic that other creatures

Carnivorous Teeth

Sharp teeth developed specially for the lifestyle lead by boggarts and their carnivorous diets. Feeding on both meat and life force, a boggarts teeth is made to help in causing mischief or feeding off their targets.

Shapechange

Boggarts are naturally inclined towards changing shape, being immature will-o-wisps leaves them physically flexible in shape.
