Homebrew Yuan-ti (Alepto) Species Details

Yuan-ti were originally humans who transformed themselves into serpent folk through ancient Shamanistic rituals. They are children of the wild and most find peace living in the forests, swamps and jungles of the world.  Some find themselves at home in urban society as well, though the call of the wild is strong in them some say do to their unique biology.

Blessed with resistance to poisonous effects due to their biology each  Yuan-ti manifests their serpentine heritage in a variety of ways: a forked tongue, snake eyes, a snakelike nose, or some other ophidian characteristic. Some show a few of these traits while others are born with them all.  Often judged as evil for their looks they are never the less just like most races of Alepto, capable of great good and great evil.
