Homebrew Accursed Human (Alepto) Species Details
Found throughout Alepto, humans are as varied as they are numerous, and they endeavor to achieve as much as they can in the years they are given. Their ambition and resourcefulness are commended, respected, and feared on by all other races.
Humans are as diverse in appearance as the people of Earth, and they have many gods. Scholars dispute the origin of humanity, but one of the earliest known human gatherings is said to have occurred in the East while other scholars say its the West. All that is truly known is in these times of Degradation they are everywhere and not always the most pleasant of races depending on which Creed or Faith they follow.
Accursed Human Traits
Creature Type: Humanoid
Size: Medium (about 4–7 feet tall) or Small (about 2–4 feet tall), chosen when you select this species
Speed: 30 feet
Darkvision
Darkvision. Blessed with a radiant soul, your vision can easily cut through darkness. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Unearthly Resistance
Unearthly Resistance. You have resistance to necrotic damage and radiant damage.
Healing Hands
Healing Hands. As an action, you can touch a creature and cause it to regain a number of hit points equal to your level. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Light Bearer
Light Bearer. You know the light cantrip. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for it.

Shroud of Undeath
Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the unearthly energy within yourself, causing your eyes to turn into pools of darkness and two skeletal, ghostly, flightless wings to sprout from your back. You gain temp health equal to 2d6 + your spell modifier. Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, once on each of your turns, you can deal extra necrotic damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra necrotic damage equals your level.
Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest
