As a Kitsune you have the ability to shift between multiple forms, as an action you can change between the following:

• Human Form- While in your human form you blend in with others. You lose your tails, ears and fur to walk around unnoticed. Also, your clothing and equipment doesn't change, and if a creature suspects that you aren't human, you have advantage on any Charisma (Deception) checks to avoid detection. 
  
  
• Kitsune Form- While you are in this fox-like form you gain advantage on Dexterity (Stealth)checks, but you gain disadvantage on any Strength checks or saves. Your ears, tails, fur and claws come back. Your claws become natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength or Dexterity modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike. 
  
  
• Fox form- You may only use this form three times per long rest, shifting into a fox through the same effects as the Polymorph spell. The statistics for your fox form are the same as: Kitsune Fox

You have Darkvision with a range of 60 feet.

Kitsunes have a natural knack for trickery and magic. From this you know the Dancing Lights cantrip.

You are part of a lineage that grants you supernatural abilities. Choose a lineage from the Kitsune Lineages table. You gain the level 1 benefit of that lineage.

When you reach character levels 3 and 5, you learn a higher-level spell or skill, as shown on the table. You always have that spell prepared. You can cast it once without a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast it in that way when you finish a Long Rest. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level.

Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for the spells you cast with this trait (choose the ability when you select the lineage).

You have proficiency in the Insight, Perception, or Survival skill.
