Homebrew Demigod Species Details

The Gods do not Normally have mortal children. But when they do, they survive by blending in with the common folk, typically humans and beings of similar nature. Demigods come in all shapes and sizes, typically with one or two features from their divine parentage. Some even share the same features, a defining way to characterize children of specific Gods. Demigods may have any range of natural skin tone, hair colour, hair texture, or eye colour. Height differs, typically depending on their mortal parent, but may be taller or shorter due to their divine parentage. Children of the Gods rarely live past the age of 18, but exceptions exist if the Demigod does not know of their parentage, or is the child of a minor God.

Human Traits

Creature Type: Humanoid

Age. Demigods gain their abilities around puberty, reach adulthood in the late teens, and can live nearly a century, but are typically killed before adulthood.

Alignment. Demigods lean to no specific alignment, as their experiences in life are so drastically different.

Size. Demigods vary from any matter of height. From under 5’ to well over 6’.

Speed. You have a base walking speed of 30ft. Unless you are a child of Hermes(mercury), then your base walking speed is 40ft.

You gain Heroic Inspiration whenever you finish a Long Rest.

Skillful

You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.

Versatile

You gain an Origin feat of your choice.
