The Aethergrom are an ancient race of colossal humanoids whose existence blurs the boundary between solid stone and living sky. Standing close to twenty feet in height, they possess massive, elongated frames built for thin air and brutal cold. Their physiques are powerful yet austere—broad shoulders, long limbs, and dense musculature shaped by generations of survival in the world’s highest mountains and deepest sky-facing caverns. To encounter an Aethergrom is to feel small not merely in body, but in time, for they carry the presence of something enduring and elemental.

Physiology and Appearance

Aethergrom skin ranges from pale slate gray to deep storm-blue and muted violet, often mottled or veined like marble shot through with mineral impurities. In many individuals, faint luminescent lines or patches appear beneath the skin, glowing softly when exposed to moonlight, lightning, or powerful magic. Scholars debate whether this glow is residual arcane energy or a biological adaptation to altitude and low oxygen.

Their eyes are large and reflective, commonly silver, ice-blue, or pale lavender, adapted to glare from snowfields and cloud-filtered sunlight.
