Homebrew Draconoir Species Details

Strange but somehow Beautiful

With their unearthly grace and scaled, vaguely draconic features, draconoir appear unearthly, intimidating, and bizarre to humans and members of many other races. They are slightly taller than humans on average, and more slender as well, exhibiting long limbs and wiry physiques. Males and females are about the same height.

Draconoir coloration encompasses the normal human range and also includes skin in shades of grey, hair of any color, and eyes of silver, gold, amber, and black. Draconoir have scales anywhere on their body, and many do possess horns, frills, and sharp teeth. Scales can be any solid color. They favor clothing that complements their skin and scale colors, whatever those many be.

Lifespans and General Demeanor

Draconoir can live well over 400 years. As such, like elves, they do tend to have a different perspective than short lived races. They experience emotions within a slightly less-intense spectrum than others, with a draconoirs fury being hard to spur. When pursuing a goal, however, whether adventuring on a mission or learning a new skill or art, they can be focused and relentless. They are slow to make friends and enemies, and even slower to forget them.

Although they can have high expectations of themselves and others, draconoir are generally gracious and flexible even to those who fall short of their high expectations. Still, they can find good in just about anyone. Despite being a race that is met with fear and confusion, the draconoir are typically open, friendly, and accepting.
