Homebrew Bush Cricketfolk (Stridari) Species Details
Stridari, commonly called bush cricketfolk, are nimble, long-legged insectoid humanoids known for their powerful leaps and musical stridulation. Their wing-cases and legs can produce chirps, clicks, and rhythmic hums that carry through dense foliage. Many Stridari live hidden among hedges, bushes, and flowering plants, where they serve as messengers, scouts, and musicians within magical ecosystems.
Stridari culture values rhythm, memory, and movement, believing that every living thing has a natural tempo.
