Homebrew Caniskind Species Details

Caniskind, or dogfolk, come in all shapes and sizes and from all walks of life.

German Shepard

German Shepherds can be found anywhere there is a need for loyal, hardworking and intelligent workers. The typical jobs for a German Shepard are guards, adventurers and farmers. However some individuals avoid 'civilized society' altogether and prefer to live off the land with their close friends and family.

Husky

Huskies are often found high up in mountains and far north and thrive in harsh, cold environments. They may not be the smartest of Caniskind, but they make up for it with their aptitude for cooperation and their determination and love for challenge.

Chihuahua

Chihuahuas are small and versatile humanoids and are known for their quick hands. They often live in or around cities and tend to work in fields where their size won't interfere with their job.

Tibetan Mastiff

Tibetan Mastiffs can be found in more rural areas and tend to be seen as 'gentle giants' due to their size and calm temperament. They are often drawn to churches, hospitals and other places and offer whatever services they can provide to help.

Pitbull

Pitbulls can be found all over and are natural fighters. They often find work within fields that require a lot of hard labor. Despite their reputation, Pitbulls are not ferocious bloodlusting animals. What they are is protective and they make no apologies for it.

Golden Retriver

Golden Retrievers can be found anywhere and are often drawn to social jobs and places. You can often find Golden Retrievers who are bards or sorcerers due to their natural connection to the magical.

Saint Bernard

Saint Bernards are known for their kindness and wisdom. They have a unique ability to sense danger and therefor are often drawn to jobs like adventurers, clerics and guards. On top of that, their home is in the mountains and have adapted to that cold environment.

Irish Wolfhound

Irish Wolfhounds are born and bred fighters and hunters, quick on the battlefield and incredibly perceptive. They generally carry a calm demeanor, but are quick to jump into action when the need arises.

Varg

Vargs are often found deep in the forest and tend to avoid outsiders. They are natural predators and thrive in the wild with their ferocious attacks and impeccable tracking skills and high perception.
