Homebrew Brute Species Details
A mighty foe that protects the bastion at any cost. A piglin boar some would say, but as the other piglins look upon them with pride as they walked past their Brute. They are stronger then the rest. Made for combat within the hellish landscape they call home. They're protectors, workers. Something to lean on and hide behind. Not someone you'd often find soothing if you're scared. They often carry around giant axes, and their strength is shown in their builds, but also the scares littering the body. They are names by the bastion, often names after or trait or a great success. Their bastion is their everything.
To Other species they are seen as greed filled bloodthirsty beast. Something that would go into a blood haze as they attack everything in their way. Attack first, and deal with the consequences later with even more blood thirsty. Enemies of the bastion would never see anything but their blood thirsty behaviors. Yet, strangers will be greeted with cold shoulders. Watching as the brutes stay by the piglin sides and often have to be guided away when the strangers move too fast or disrespectfully.
To spot a Brute out of all the pig like creature, is to find the taller and a more built body. Tusks standing proud, larger then the others, and brandishing gold to help support their size when they are being used. Their axe are glued to their side. The more seasoned they are the more scares they have. wearing them with pride. Otherwise their fur matches other piglins, ranging from pinkish to peach. Bright eyes ranging from red to orange, bright to dull in coloration. Pig like hoofed foot, fingers being made mainly of the same material to help them with their grip if they need to work with the blistering heat of the world around them.

Brutish Features
You have tusks that let you charge, and your hoof-like hands let you deal more of an unarmed strike. Though this means being gentle is not in your nature. Glass or other fragile materials are easy to shatter without a lot of concentration.
Damage Resistance
You have Resistance to fire damage as your skin is made to deal with the heat of hell itself. Though you can still get burned. Taking half damage instead of the normal full.
Darkvision
You have Darkvision with a range of 60 feet.
