Homebrew Beastkin Minotaur Species Details
The Minotaur are large, barrel-chested humanoids with heads resembling that of a bull or cow. Blessed with a supernaturally strong sense of direction, Minotaur make fantastic navigators, map-makers, guides, and explorers. Though there are some who believe that they were the creation of Mormo the Hag-Mother to patrol the mazes often used to trap and confuse her prey, they have earned the patronage of The Judge, and are counted among the Divine Races, perhaps having seen the correct path forward was through rebellion against the Titans.
Minotaur horns range in size from one to three feet in length, and have a variety of shapes and curvatures. They are often carved and inked, or sharpened and adorned with symbols of power and trinkets from their travels and battles.
Some have even taken to sheathing their horns in metal (Bronze is favoured) in order to strengthen them in battle and give them an extra edge.
Thick hair extends down minotaur’s necks and powerful backs, and some (often, but not always, males) have long tufts of hair on their chins and cheeks. Their powerful legs end in heavy, cloven hooves and they have long, tufted tails.
